Edward Eng is a native California artist who specializes in creating ceramic sculptures that tell narratives about the everchanging relationship between humans and nature, emphasizing the impacts of climate change. His works are often inspired by surrealism as well as scientific research to create pieces that evoke a sense of familiarity while introducing topics that are often overlooked in the art world. He completed a BFA in Spatial Arts with an emphasis in ceramics at San José State University and currently lives in the bay area.
His artistic inspirations include Monica Van den Dool, Adrian Arleo, Courtney Mattison and René Magritte.
