Edward Eng is a California artist who specializes in ceramic sculptures that tell narratives about the dynamic relationship between humans and nature, raising awareness about the severe impacts of climate change. His sculptures are inspired by scientific research and surrealism to create pieces that evoke a sense of playfulness balanced with a serious tone across various topics.
He is also a hobbyist photographer who focuses on documenting the projects, exhibits and processes of artists. He completed a B.F.A. Concentration in Spatial Art at San José State University and currently works as a teaching aide and an artist assistant.
His artistic inspirations include Monica Van den Dool, Adrian Arleo, Molly Schulps, Kendra Harvey, Lisa Heikka-Huber and René Magritte.
